About:Marriage Registration in China

If Im from Australia and I want to marry my Chinese girlfriend in China can I get permanent residenc

So I’ve met this girl who’s been studying in Australia for 2 years and she’s graduated and now gone back to China, am I allowed to marry her and obtain permanent residency for myself since she’s a permanent residence as well?

yes, you may. The reqirements are: spouses of Chinese citizens, whose marriage has lasted for five years, and who have lived in mainland for five years in a row, the annual stay here being no shorter than nine months, and who have stable and secured living status and place to live.
