About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

HK -> Guangzhou -> Taipei

Hi,

Was considering flying HK -> Xiamen -> Taipei. Would I be eligible for the 72hr visa in Xiamen? On a Canadian visa.

Kevin, you mean on a Canadian passport?

Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Xiamen, under the condition that your flights don't have any additional landings anywhere.

By the way, 72 hour TWOV was replaced by 144 hour TWOV and this is not a visa, but a visa free transit. No visa at all.
