I’m us citizen traveling from Los Angeles to Guangzhou and take train to Hong Kong do I qualify for the 144 transit visa

You must have your confirmed train ticket in your hand when you check in at Los Angeles. You cannot take high speed rail. You must stay longer than 24 hours in Guangzhou.
