About:Marriage Registration in China

purpose of visit is for the preparation of our marriage

I have a Chinese boyfriend. What are the requirements in order for me to apply for my visa if my purpose of visit is to prepare for our marriage. I am from Philippines. Can anyone help me? Thank you!

you could apply for a tourist visa when coming to China. The requirements are: your valid passport, a completed Visa Application Form with a recently-taken passport photo, round-trip airline tickets, Invitation Letter from China and the photocopy of the inviter's Chinese ID / Passport with Chinese Residence Permit.
For first time Chinese visa applicant, you will also need the following additional documents:
A) Bank Certificate of Deposit Balance(including the past 6 months bank statement) and the receipt for payment of this certificate;
B) BIR-stamped Income Tax Return Form;
C) Certificate of Employment(detailing the salary and the length of employment );
D) Professional ID/Student ID (if applicable);
E) Other relevant documents proving the applicant's economic condition/ employment/study, or supporting the applicant's travel to China, or explaining the travel purpose (if applicable);
