About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is this okay?

TAIPEI > XIAMEN CHINA (24 hour layover) > CHENGDU (144 visa free stay) > Seoul. Is this okay?

No, this is not allowed for any kind of visa free transit scheme. The reason is, you are not allowed to travel to two Chinese transit zones in a row, in your case Xiamen and Chengdu. In reality, you are allowed to do that, but only if your entire transit time takes less than 24 hours.

You will need a Chinese tourist (L) visa or you should rearrange your flights.
