French passport holder living in England

I want to go to Shanghai in October 2019 for 2 weeks.
(1) Where can I download the application form so that I can gather all the necessary information needed?
(2) Do I have to go in person to the China Embassy to get fingerprinted or can I use a visa service?
(3) How long will it take to get a visa and how much will it cost?

Thank you

1. You can go check in Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC) to download all the necessary documents you need.
2. According to the official website: The visa centers in UK will  take a photograph and capture fingerprints for each applicant who are aged between 14 to 70 when applicants submitting their applications at the Visa Application Center. So I guess you need to go to the visa center in person.
3. A visa typically takes three or four working days to process if all the accompanying documents meet the requirements. I'm not sure how long you will wait to get it. It costs GBP 94.
