About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Are we eligible for 144 hr visa for stay in Shanghai?

Hello, We plan fly from Melbourne - Taiwan ( 4 hrs stop over ) - Shanghai ( plan to stay 5-6 days ) then
fly from Shanghai - Taiwan (Plan to stay 6 - 7 days) then fly directly back to Melbourne.

You will need a visa due to Taiwan > China > Taiwan. Your entry and exit country need to be different. Connection without leaving the airport still counts as a stop.
