About:Requirements for China Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit)

Need details re: criminal record check for permanent residence card

I've confirmed with the entry/exit bureau that any national record check will do, but I need clarification on what is meant by "recognized by Chinese embassies or consulate offices" means. Do I need to take a certified translation of the record check to the consulate and have them stamp it or something?

you should send the record check to Chinese Visa Application Service Center for consular authentication by the Chinese Embassy in your country.
