Convert from China student visa to work (Z)

Hey, I'm joe from the Democratic Republic of Congo. I'm currently in China. I just graduated from university and got a job here. I have already obtain the work permit and I will travel to HongKong to convert my current student Visa(X2) to Work Visa(Z). I need to know the required documents that the China visa center in HongKong ask people to bring when applying for Work Visa. I also want to know if they ask the original authenticated criminal record because I just lost mine but I still have the original copy in my computer. So I want to know if I can present the printed one at the Visa center. Also you can help me with the list of the documents they request when someone is applying. I look forward to your quick reply. Thanks a lot in advance.

It is okay if you bring the copy of the authenticated criminal record. Other necessary documents are Passport, Visa Application Form and Photo, HK visa and the original and photocopy of your work permit.

actually, you could change your student visa directly into a work visa when you go to the nearby Public Security Bureau (PSB) Exit and Entry Administration office at Mainland China.
