About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Chengdu

From a A to Chengdu and back to A

Dear Sirs,
can I arrive to CD from Italy, stay 5 days and come back to Italy without VISA?

No, you cannot. This would be a visit to China and a visit requires a visa. Anyway, if you can insert the third country within your itinerary, then you would be eligible. In reality, this so called creative itineraries are in most times more expensive compared to obtaining a tourist (L) visa.
