About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

144-Free Transfer Visa

Do the flights for the transfer Visa have to be on the same itinerary?
I have a ticket entering Guangzhou on China Southern Airlines, but the ticket to leave Guangzhou is from Cathay Dragon.
Will that be a problem?
