About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 visa telling the airline

hi at which destination should you inform the airline that you wish to take a 144 hour visa.
as im flying from london to Singapore, then coach to malysia back to singapore, then flying to China and then back to london.
Would it be the Singapore to China flight company in this case SIA i would inform when checking in?

Yes, you will inform the airline at the moment of your check-in in Singapore. You will declare that you will fly from Singapore to London via China (the city has to be specified) and you will present your tickets in hard copy as a proof. After that, you will be allowed to board the plane and upon arrival in China, you will approach to 144 hour counter where you will fill out the form and hand it over along with your flight tickets to the relevant person. After your entry permit is granted, you will get a sticker in your passport and be allowed to exit the airport.

Please, try to use correct terminology because this is 144 hour visa free transit and not 144 visa. There is no visa at all.
