About:Chinese Embassy in New Zealand

Old Visa + Turkey

My parents are NZ Citizens and have had a Chinese Visa before but never actually went to China as their cruise was cancelled. This was well over 10+ years ago but don't have the original passports with the visa. Will this matter? As the visa application asks for evidence of old visa etc.

Also another question - is it true if you've been to Turkey your visa could be denied?

Thanks in advance for your response.

It doesn't matter if they can't provide the previous visa because they actually didn't use it.

If you've been to Turkey, you may meet with difficulties during the application process, but that doesn't mean your visa will definitely be denied.
