About:China Business Visa

mixing single-entry business visa with 144-hour visa free transit

in a scenario where I have a single-entry visa to China (with tickets MUC-PVG-MUC) and at the end of the trip i would want to visit Taiwan (before flying back to Europe) and use the visa free transit for that (since my Chinese visa is single-entry) - would that be possible or would there be any issues with customs?

there would be two separate reservations - one for MUC-PVG-MUC and one for PVG-TPE-PVG i.e. first entering China on a single-entry visa and then on the way back from TPE using the visa-free transit.

Yes, on your way back from TPE, you can use the visa-free transit in Shanghai.
