About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

Do I need a tourist visa and a transit visa

planning to go to China Oct 16/19 stay for 6 days then go to Malaysia for a few days then return by Beijing to Toronto

Peter, if both routes look like Country A - China - Country C, and both times you only stop in one 144 visa-free tansit region in China, you may qualify for the 144h visa-free transit on both ways.
