About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I have US passport and plan to take a trip from India with a tour group in Sept / Oct. 2019.

Should I get visa in US before I travel to India?
Can I get visa in India once I am there and would there be enough time to get it?
How much would I be charged for visa fee?

Dear, you'd better to apply in your home country, and you will be charged USD140 for a single entry type.
