Taiwan easy card versus taipei transport pass

Hi there, do we get the same daily discounts if we use the Easy card. For ex: $700 for five days use. Or is it preferable to buy them separately? Also, is there a 7 days transport card or is it just the 5 days that's available for purchase?

The discount policy might be different. One card will be enough. I haven't found 7 days card.
