Chinese Visa for Korean

Hi, my boss is a Korean, but he is living in Vietnam now. There is an exhibition in Shanghai China (around Sep), so his supplier invited him to come to Shanghai, so my boss has to make Chinese Visa. If my boss makes Chinese Visa with type M, please tell me what does he need?
