About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 Hour Visa Free Transit or 72 Hour Transit Without a Visa

I am a US Citizen and will arrive to Shanghai at 4:30 PM and flying out to Vietnam the next day at 3:30 PM. Should I do the 24 Hour Visa Free Transit or 72 Hour Transit Without a Visa? Thanks!

You don't get a choice. If your connection is less than 24 hours then you get 24 hours. If it's over 24 hours then you get 144.
