Work matters or Open Buisness

I have been asked to open my own business - sole proprietor . But because I am out of work , i have been quite anxious and nervous about being a business owner. Should I go take on a new job (i have offered and asked to start on 1 August) or start my own consultancy business ? Dob 28 October 1968.
