About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am eligible for free 24 transit visa?

Am flying from London (country A) - Beijing (country B) - Japan (country C) . Japan is my final destination. However, I will have a layover time of 1 hour and 50 minutes at Beijing PEK airport. Within that time I will be catching my connecting flight to Japan. Am eligible for free 24 transit visa?

Does the 24 hour free transit visa still apply when I go back to London? To be specific Japan (country A) - Beijing (country B) - London (country C) with a layover time of 2 hours and 40 minutes.

The 24-hour visa-free transit (which itself is not a visa) generally refers to the entry permit which is given by immigration to persons leaving the airport. In your case you will simply clear transit security and will not face immigration if your flights are in the same terminal. Needless to say you don't need a visa either.
