Prescription should be translated and can I get meds in China?
I will be working in Xi'an for one year and I need to take tirosint (levothyroxine) once a day. I can't find reliable info about the amount limit in these long term cases, but a common feature seems to bring my doctor's prescription along to justify the meds I'm carrying. Since I am not from an English speaking country, is an english translation generally accepted or it must be in chinese? Furthermore, can I translate it myself or should it be a certified translation?
As I think bringing 12 packs (1 per month) will kinda be out of the question most probably, will I be able to purchase an equivalent medicine once I am in China? And how does that generally work, provided that I will ask for a health insurance that might cover that process if one exists.
This might be a bit overwhelming, if possible, to save you time, could you link me to an official channel which deals with these customs procedures in english?
Thanks for your time and patience in advance!
