want to utilize my layover at guangzhou baiyun airport

On 28th July I will be traveling by China southern flight 360 from New Delhi to winnipeg Canada in between there is a layover of approximately 6hrs my question is how can I utilize my 6hrs layover can I visit some near by tourist spot if yes is visa required or I can get visa on arrival

You only has 6 hours layover, so it is not suggested to go outside and there is no attractions near the airport. You can wander around in the airport and taste local Chinese food in some restaurants.
