About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Need help with chinese visa

Is is true that the 144 hours start counting from midnight of the following day? If so, where can I find the official documentation that support that?

Anyway, you can insert the following text in Chinese language in Google search engine:

问：144小时从什么时候开始算？

答：144小时过境免签外国人，自入境日的次日零时起算，可在成都市行政区域内免签停留不超过144小时，入境当天的时间不计算在内。

After you receive the results, you will open the website that ends with shuangliu.gov.cn where you will have to use the google translate and will see this lower part of the text that literally says that 144 hour visa free transit starts at 00:00 of the following day and it can last at most for 144 hours.
