About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

Which city for a newbie?

I’m moving to China to teach English in September. I would be grateful for any info on which would be best for a smooth introduction/immersion into Chinese culture. I want a cultural experience in arts, music, cinema, etc. I do not like big cities but I can adapt.

Which of these city would you recommend;

Foshan, Guangzhou or Shenzhen

I would say Foshan and Shenzhen. In Foshan, you can experience more traditional culture of southern citizens in China. And it is also necessary to know modern China develpoment in Shenzhen. Wish you all the best!
