Hi I'm a newbie traveling with my boyfriend to hk this December for six days

I was planning to get the octopus card as I've understood it can be used for the other attractions like ngongping Disneyland ocean park the peak etc. can I use just one card for the both of us? And how much to you think I need to load on it? I can always refund the remaining at the airport right?
