About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

need 72 hours transit visa but very difficult to get information

hello I will be flying from Oulan Bator with China Airlines to Beijing Airport and stay less than 72 hours - As my first flight is from Paris to Moscow then train to Mongolia, some people are telling it is not possible to get the 72 hours transit visa? can you help me ? then after my stay in Bejiing i will travel to Paris with Air France

Your previous trip doesn't influence your eligibility for the 72h visa-free transit. As long as you fly from Ulan Bator to Beijing and then to a third country, you can enjoy it. Note that you can't have layovers in other Chinese cities. By the way, in Beijing, you actually can stay for as long as 144 hours.
