About:Chinese Consulates in South Africa

Seminar in Beijing

I need to apply for a VISA to attend a seminar in Beijing with The Government of South Africa.
-Which VISA do I apply for?
-Do I need to go to the embassy in person? If so, how do I set up this appointment?
- Where is the information provided stating what documentation I need to take with me?
- How long does the process take?

Daniella, you should apply for F type, which needs to provide valid passport, application form and recent photo, round trip air tickets and invitation letter. You should make an appointment online and then submit the application at the appointment time on your own or by others. Plus, the process usually takes 4 working days.
