About:China Private Visit Visa

Can I apply S1 visa here in China?

I am a foreigner with Z visa but due to changes of plans, I will be letting go of my Z visa and will go for S1 visa for the meantime. Can I process this within China or I have to go back to my home country? Thanks!

Nash, it is possible for you to change Z to S1 at local PSB without leaving China.

sorry for left out important info. But, I will only be in China for six month job-training after that the work will be here in Ethiopia.
