Hi, I'n I come on an L visa and get a work permit in China if I submit all the correct paperwork

Hi I'm from Australia and I've been offered a job to teach in Shanghai. I start next month and am worried I won't have time to get a z visa. Can I go over on L visa and get my work permit in China?

Dear, you can go to China on L type. After getting work permit, you can change L to Z type outside mainland China, such as Hong Kong or Macau.
