About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit
15 hour layover, want to go Disneyland
Will I be able to get a 24 hour transit without visa to do this?

LAX-PVG-BKK
Arrive at PVG at 6am, depart to Bangkok at 9:35pm
Shanghai Disneyland
1 ticket from LAX to PVG, other ticket will be PVG-BKK

Yes, you will be able to visit Disneyland in Shanghai.
Upon your arrival in Shanghai you will apply for 24 hour visa free entry that will be definitely granted because you are flying on separate tickets and you have to make a new check-in. After your entry permit is granted, you are free to make a new check-in if available so early or to deposit your luggage at the left luggage facility at the airport. If you are traveling with a family, probably the best option is to take a taxi, but if you are alone, then a combination of public transport is definitely your best bet.0
