I honestly doubt so. You have to contact them to be certain if they are providing this service to its passengers, but really I really don't remember when an airline has done this in the name of its passengers, although this would be theoretically possible. In reality, that would be quite simple. For example, they could arrange an airport transfer by bus for your group through local travel agency and that would be enough.

So, you should first ask them and when you receive an answer, you will just contact a local agency, like this one (Travel China Guide) and send them your date, your itinerary and the name of your hotel(s) where you will stay. They will promptly reply and offer you to book some simple service they are offering like airport transfer and after that, you will be informed that your 30 day visa free access is granted.

Maybe, but maybe your airline is telling you that you will apply for Hainan VOA (visa on arrival) upon your landing in Sanya. Please, just ask, do not hesitate because first of all you have to be informed about the real offer by your airline or tour operator. After that, just come here again and we can discuss additional details.
