About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Qingdao

Europe - Qingdao - Europe via differnt air ports

If I´m flying from Austria via Germany to Qingdao and back direct to Austria (or via South Korea ), is that fine for the 144hr visit?

Yes, it is. It is important that your immediate points before and after the Chinese destination, in your case Qingdao, are in different countries to be eligible for 144 hour visa free transit.

So, eligible itineraries are:

Germany - QD - Austria
Germany - QD - South Korea

There has to be a formula A - B - C

By the way, be very careful because there are no direct flights from QD to Austria, so take care that your itinerary does not appear like:

Germany - QD - Germany

Remember... Only the immediate points before and after matter!
