Does this 72-hour Visa free apply to me?

Hi,
I'll be flying from Vietnam to Hong Kong, then from HK I'll take a fairy or train to Guangzhou to visit a friend for two days, then back to HK. Does this 72-hour Visa free apply to me? Where and how should I get my passport stamped before I leave HK airport?
Thank you,
