Hi im going to apply a Chinese visit visa for a short stay. Can i visit the hongkong with the available Chinese visa or do I need to apply a separate visa for Hongkong?

Kumar, Oman citizen can stay in Hong Kong without visa for shorter than 30 days, so you just need to apply for Chinese visa.
