Multiple entry to china from USA

Hi I’m applying for a china visa to tour and drop my daughter off at college in Shanghai for a semester. I want to apply for multiple entries. My first visit is in August for 8 days and I have rountrip tickets and hotel reservation. My 2&3 visit are to be in October and December. Do I need hotel reservations and airline tickets for those tentative dates. I also chose longest duration of 15 days. Is that ok or do I have to re-apply when I want to go in October or December. Thank you

Dear, if you obtain multiple entries type, you don't need to provide hotel reservation and air tickets for your second and third visit.

US passport can apply for the 10 year multiple entry visa which is the same cost as a single entry visa. Just mark other at the top of the application and write in 10 year multiple entry. Only need to include the information about the first trip.
