About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Are we eligable for the 144hr free visa in Shanghai

Hi, my partner and I are flying with Qantas from Sydney Australia direct into Shanghai for a 4 night stay 22/8/19 then depart Shanghai on a Cruise 26/8/19 with first stop Busan, South Korea and eventually returning to Australia.
We will be remaining in the areas of Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang for the 4 night period.
Could you please inform us if it is ok for a 144 visa free transit? We don't want to fly all that way to find out we will not be granted entry using the 144hr visa option.

Sydney (Australia) - Shanghai (China) - Busan (South Korea)

This is perfect example of an itinerary that is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Shanghai transit zone and all you should do is to have your flight and cruise tickets (confirmations) in hard copy, ready to be shown to relevant authorities.

By the way, please, just use correct terminology because this is not 144 hour free visa, but 144 hour visa free transit... So, there is no any kind of visa. Just to avoid any possible misunderstandings.
