About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

China Visa requirements: Hong Kong first, then Quanzhou (Taishan), and back to HK

We are US citizens and hold US passports. We will arrive in HK for a couple of days, and then want to visit my parents' village, Taishan, Quandong, for three days after we arrived in HK. Do we need to obtain Visas for this short visit to China? If we do, which I think we probably do, is there a Chinese Embassy in HK for us to apply the Visas while we are in HK?

Dear, you are requested to obtain Chinese visa in advance. You can apply at CVASV in Hong Kong while you are there. The process time is usually 4 working days, so please make sure you have enough time to apply. Plus, you can apply at Chinese Embassy in USA.
