About:China Family Reunion Visa

Can I work on a Q type visa?

My wife is Chinese and I (British) am planning to move back there with her.

(1) is it possible for me to work as an entrepreneur on the Q visa?

(2) Q1 is probably more appropriate for me (long-term) but how difficult is it to get the residence permit to go with it?

1. You can't work on Q type. If you want to work, you should apply for work Z type.
2. If you apply for Q1, you should apply for residence permit within 30 days upon arrival in China. Plus, it is not difficult.
