About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

I am traveling from Oslo to Sanya with 1 connection flight in Beijing.

Can I do this with a 30-day Free Visa Access ?

No, unfortunately, you are not allowed to do that. Simply speaking, every possible visa free option is ruined by using Beijing as one of the transit points within your itinerary. Basically, visa free options are visa free transit schemes and they always imply that you travel from country A through country B (China) to reach country C. As you can see, you don't have a country C, but your destination is within country B, i.e. in China. To be allowed to travel with the mentioned itinerary, you need a Chinese visa obtained in advance. Since you need a visa, you can cover your entire transit and stay in the whole country (Hainan included) using your visa and you don't need 30-day free visa access at all.
