Work Visa application
I have an odd question. I'm an American with a residence visa and work permit that are about to expire and my employer did not begin the process for renewing the work permit quickly enough. I need to leave the country and re-enter with a work visa (Z) again. Can I do this process of getting the work notice and visa from a Chinese embassy in a non-American country like Hong Kong or Japan, even though I'm an American? I want to save money on these travel expenses.
