About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

About the confirm seats for the next flight

We are traveling for 3 days to Beijing and then we are flying to Russia. We have the booking email with the information for the second confirmed flight. But for the 144 hours visa, do they need a confirmed seats on the plane? I understand we can only have the confirm seats when we check in online, only 24 hours before the flight, not 3 days. When you say “confirmed seats” do you mean seat number? Or confirm ticket? Thanks :)

Confirmed seat means confirmed ticket, i.e. with this policy Chinese authorities are preventing the use of standby tickets for visa free purposes. So, confirmed seat means confirmed and not standby ticket. Simple as that. Nobody will ask you anything about your seat number or similar.
