About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Transfer Chinese work visa to student visa

Hi there. I’m currently resident in China (Shanghai) on a work visa. In September I will however begin studying at Jiaotong university in Shanghai. I will therefore need to convert my current work visa to a student visa. Could you tell me the best way to do this and the docs required? Thanks!

Paul, you can convert your visa type at Shanghai PSB without leaving China.
