Internship stay in Shanghai

I wonder if its possible to get a "subscription" to the public transport in China, shanghai which would make it easier for me to just buy a month subscription and travel that way ( unlimited ). Or is it only on pay per ride basis?

Hi, there is no such thing. It is suggested to buy the Ordinary Transportation Card, which is very easy to take public transport and you can buy it in any subway station.
