EDIT: Extend X1 student visa by 1 month or change to tourist Visa
I asked a question a few days ago but forgot to add some vital information. First of all, thanks for the fast response but this is the full situation:
I currently have an X1 student visa that is valid until the 30th of July, but I want to travel in China until the end of August. Since my university does not offer courses for me to attend, I cannot extend my study period. Is there still a way to extend my visa or do I have to change it into a tourist visa, and if so, can I do that from within China? And how much would it cost?
EDIT: I will be leaving China in mid July and only return in mid August. I was told I can apply for a 30-days zero entry tourist visa, but since I want to return to China after my current visa expires, a zero entry visa would not work for me (I assume). Can I apply for a 30-day tourist visa with single entry before I leave China.
