Turkey Stamp on American Passport Implications for 144 Hour TWOV?

Hello,

I've been reading a posts of people on multiple forums that they have been denied entry when they apply for a Transfer Without Visa permit at various available entry points in China.

We plan to go to Beijing for a couple days (4 days) and plan to apply for the 144-hour TWOV then to Seoul (4 days), but I'm getting a little nervous because my wife's passport has the entry and exit stamp of 3 days that we spent in Istanbul for tourism and from there we went to Greece. I'm traveling with my two kids as well, and I would like to know if anyone in this group has found themselves in this situation and what would you suggest? Any recommendations?

Daer, does your itinerary is USA- Beijing -Seoul and there is no other landings in mainland China? if yes, all of you can enjoy 144h visa exemption transit.
