Visa help (Cruise)

A group of four of us, all United Kingdom citizens, aged 70, 72, 73 and 76, are boarding a Holland America Cruise ship, The Westerdam, next March, departing from Hong Kong for a 15 day cruise, finishing in Yokohama Japan. The cruise ship will be visiting Shanghai, Qingdao, Tianjin, and Dalian with Holland America organised shore excursions at each port of call. Please could you inform us if we need individual visas for this visit. Thank you for any information you can provide that will help us prepare for this trip. John Smith

John, if you book a Shanghai tour from a China travel agency at least 24 hours before your arrival, you don't need the visa. Otherwise, each of you need to get one. I advise you to book a one day Shanghai trip with TravelChinaGuide. It saves trouble of applying for a visa and the cost is less.
