About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

London To Bangkok

My flight to Bangkok has two transits; London-Copenhagen-Guangzhou-Bangkok. In this case, am I eligible for 24hr free visa? The transit time is around 2.45 hrs. Do you think whether it is enough time to transit at the Guangzhou airport?

Thanks a lot.

Thanks for quick reply. So, what is the minimum time that proper for transit? Is it enough if I have 4 hrs?

Thanks again.

You are definitely eligible for 24 hours visa free transit in Guangzhou, but the transfer time of only 2.45 hours is a bit tight. In case that you are traveling on one (through) ticket, this is just fine, but in case that you have separate tickets, it will require from you very agile and quick running to perform all the formalities and beside that you will need some luck to accomplish everything. It is possible to accomplish, but you will have to ask here and there for priority.

Exactly. If traveling on separate tickets 4 hours is recommendable gap between two flights, but in case of through ticket, even smaller gaps are fine.
