About:8 Tips for Filling Out Chinese Visa Application Form

S2 or tourist visa

We wish to visit our family who are working in Shanghai - visit 32 days ( flights already booked). The are both UK citizens. Should we apply for S2 or tourist visas? Is one easier to get than the other?

Maria, S2 is only issued to family members of foreigners residing in China for work, including spouses, parents, sons, daughters, spouses of sons or daughters, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandsons, granddaughters and parents-in-law. If you are qualified for this, you can apply for S2; otherwise, you can apply for tourist L type.
