Visa: "Unemployed" or "Other - Career Break" for lowest chance of rejection?

Hello!

I am applying for an L Independent Tourist Visa to visit China with my girlfriend. Currently, I am not looking for work and am living off and travelling with savings.
Is there a higher chance of not being granted a Visa if I put my Occupation as "Unemployed"? Should I put "Other" and then in more details put "Career break" or "Career break - travelling"? Or am I doomed for rejection without a job / university course?

Thanks so much for your help!

Jason, it is OK when you fill in "unemployed", and you still have a chance to get Chinese visa.

Thank you for the reassurance.

What should I put to have an extra fraction of a chance of acceptance? 'Unemployed' or 'Other' and then write 'Travelling the world'?

Secondly, should I remove all reference from my girlfriend from the application and only show hotel bookings for one person?

And should I show my plans for after my return flight from China to prove I won't overstay?

Thanks again for any more advice on this!
